The Foundation’s Pilots

Whether you are a local resident or traveling to the United States on holiday, consider choosing Wings of Flight for your warbird flight experience. Pilots and non-pilots alike

WoFF takes our responsibility to provide a safe environment for our passengers very seriously. Our flight crews are hand-picked aviation professionals that are truly passionate about aviation. They will mix the excitement and nostalgia of flight in a safe manner.

Each of our aviators average over 13,000 hours of flight time in a variety of aircraft. From airliners to small, high-performance specialty airplanes, our crews consist of airline pilots, aviation business professionals, flight instructors, aerobatic, and race pilots. Most of us also hold FAST (Formation and Air Safety Training) cards for airshow and movie work.

Each pilot is specifically trained in the aircraft they fly, and undergo yearly recurrent training and FAA checkrides.

The WoFF Ground Crew

We're equally proud of our hard-working ground crew. Our aircraft mechanics and inspectors specialize in warbird aircraft and are certificated by the FAA. We maintain our aircraft to high mechanical standards: each airplane is inspected several times a year per the manufacturer’s specification and procedures. They also receive yearly recurrent training.

Our ground and merchandise staff is an all-volunteer crew that ensures our merchandise displays are laid out and ready for operation. Next time you see us, come on by and say hello. We'd like to meet you.
