Warbird Rides; The Experience of a Lifetime Britain, 1941. Midway Island, 1942. Luke Field, 1943. High over Germany in 1944. V-J Day in 1945.
You now have the chance to strap into a true World War Two fighter, trainer, or transport aircraft that has real ties to those historic times. How about a classic Beechcraft Staggerwing or Aeronca Champ? The Golden Age of aviation can be experienced in our Waco cabin biplane. Look out the same canopies, feel the same engines, smell the hot oil, and hear the same sounds. The forces of flight are calling. You can choose your dream — ride along in the famous P-51D Mustang and go faster than you’ve ever been before while rolling through the skies. Take the controls of the “pilot maker,” North American’s AT-6 Texan, the trainer almost every American and many foreign pilots got their wings in. How about a sunset flight with a group of your friends in a Douglas DC-3 that flew actual missions during World War Two. When you book your flight, you’ll be scheduled for an experience that allows you to touch a piece of history in a way few others get to. History will definitely touch you. When you or your group arrives at the airport, you’ll be introduced to your flight crew and be given a full safety briefing before your flight. We can accommodate everything from individuals to group flights of up to 13 guests. Your flight can be as calm and serene as you like, or as fun as you desire!
